Rochallor Fingolfin

Rochallor was the steed of the Elven-king Fingolfin in the First Age. He was described as "a great horse", which might refer to his swiftness or size.

Durring Dagor Bragollach, Fingolfin rode Rochallor directly to the gates of Angband and challenged Morgoth to a duel.Rochallor stayed behind until Fingolfin died of his wounds. He was later assailed by the wolves of Angband but was able to escape due to his great swiftness. When Rochallor arrived in Hithlum, his heart broke and he died
